•    Windows will show you the License Agreement.
•    Press on the Agree option.
•    Now, you will get the option to do the updates later on.
•    In case you do not wish to wait, then leave the schedule and go through the upgrade process.
•    After starting the upgrading process, you have to wait for a few minutes.
•    After completing this step, you will get the Welcome Back display.
•    To complete the Windows 10 setup process, go through the guidelines given on the screen.
•    After that, select the Windows settings tab.
•    Press on the Customize settings button.
•    Start adjusting the settings as per your wish.
•    Press on the Customize settings option.
•    Start adjusting the settings tab.
•     It also instructs you to complete the remaining set up process which includes Cortana.
•    After completing the setup, sign in with the username and password registered with Windows 8.1.
•    After completing the procedure, you will get to the Home screen.
