How to Restore Computer to a Previous Point in Windows 10

Restoring from boot on Windows 10
  1. Firstly, switch on the device.
  2. After that, after approximately 5 seconds, do a long press on the power switch till the device is turned off by itself.
  3. You need to do this step again till you receive the Advanced options display.
  4. Then, press on troubleshoot.
  5. After that, press the advanced tab.
  6. Next, press the System Restore.

  8. Next, press the Next option.
  9. Lastly, press the Finish option for beginning the restoring procedure. You need to give some time till the full restoring task is done. I suggest you not to restart the device till the process is over completely as if you do then the boot shall not be considered.
Restoring Windows 10 by bootable disk
  1. Firstly, you need to have the Windows 10 bootable disk or else USB stick on your hand. If you do not have Windows 10 disk, then you can make it.
  2. Next, you need to boot your system by Windows 10 bootable disk or else USB stick.
  3. Then, press the Next option.
  4. After that, press the option stating Repair your computer.
  5. Next, press the Troubleshoot.
  6. Then, press the advanced option.
  7. After that, tap the system restore option.
  8. Next, select the chosen restore point.
  9. After that, press the Next option.
  10. Next, press the Finish option for beginning the procedure.
  11. Lastly, you need to give some time so that the restore procedure is over. I recommend you not to reboot the device till the process is over.
Restoring Windows 10 after doing a boot of your device
  1. Firstly, do a long tap on the Windows+ R button altogether for launching the Run bar.
  2. Then, write rstrui.exe order into the run bar.
  3. After that, press the ‘OK’ option.
  4. Note that a system restoring window shall be launched and present before you.
  5. Then, press the Next option for showing each of the present restore points in the upcoming window.
  6. After that, select the likely restore point.
  7. Next, press the Next option.
  8. Then, press on the Finish option for beginning the procedure.
  9. After that, give some time.
  10. Note that the operating system starts.
